My Job did this and everyone is pissed

I work at Sams which is owned by Wal-Mart and they scheduled everyone to work the night of New Years Eve and have new years day off. The bitch of it is when you call off for new years eve you lose the holiday pay for new years day, so essentially everyone will lose 16 hours of pay or have to work new years eve.
