So what's everyone doing for thanksgiving?

We are going to Amanda's brothers house. I'm making mashed potatoes and green beans casserole, and Amanda's making a cheesecake.

I work 7-4 and then I'm going to my mother's house (please kill me) while my husband works 5-9. I paid for the food, she's cooking it

ugh thats lame. ive been lucky and haven't had to work on thanksgiving so far, but i have a feeling that this might be the last year i can get away with it.

i run the seafood department, and since no one ever comes in to buy seafood on thanksgiving day, we don't set up the service case, but apparently we have to this year, which no one knew about it until this morning, when a big shot came in and asked about it. he got pretty pissed at me when i said we weren't setting it up. buty the schedule has already been done, and ive got the day off, so someone else will have to do it. next year, i dont think ill be so lucky.
