Looking for a good scary movie
Suggestions? Suspense is good as long as it's accompanied by scary shit that will leave me terrified. Gore is fine as long as it goes beyond gore and is actually scary as well. Key element I'm looking for is something actually scary and causes a lot of jumping.

In general a "classic" horror movie isn't quite what I'm looking for unless it is scary and realistic.

Do you have surround sound?

When I watched Gothika with good surround sound it made me jump a few times!

And yes. I have surround sound and it's setup in my basement with no windows so it's completely dark for movies :)

claymation, aliens, ghosts, and creepy mythical creatures are all horrifying to me. oh, and midgets.

Catwoman.... I Couldn't sleep for weeks...
I don't remember this much but people say that I was curled up in bed for weeks repeating "Why" over and Over again.... Very creepy
