Its based off a true story surrounding the Iran hostage crisis of 1979-1980
The Cia makes a fake movie to rescue people stuck in a very hostile situation in Iran. The movie is very very accurate to the true events, even recreating some of the images and scenes from the actual event exactly. At eh end of the movie they compare the real life photos to the ones in the movie and they are dead on. Its really a nail-biting thriller and not a movie I expected to be as great as it was.
In other news I just finished watching Lord of the rings for the first time.
