Called yesterday,they said he hasn't gotten to the resumes yet,get a call today and they tell me the job has already been filled. W....T...F.
Somebody is about to die...... Depression.....FTW.....Discouragement...FTW.......
On the bright side......

!'m almost there in the unemployment line with you, just took a day off my schedule, not just mine all of ours. Probably about three weeks left until we're out of here. Might go on vacation for a month before ! get a job, unless the right offer comes along, because !'m no dummy, ! like money...

That's what i did...I got laid off on Dec. 10th and didn't start looking for a job till Jan.- Feb. then i got lazy in May because of our upcoming wedding....since then I've been putting in 5 resumes a week.

Awww man, that sucks, man. Keep your head up. Something will come through. I know that's not much of a consolation, but things have to turn around soon enough, and people who WANT to work will rise above all the scrubs who ain't looking for shit.

Yeah,Working with Michigan Rehabilitation center.However they are not helping much at all.The lady i have for my adviser is a major bitch.I haven't heard back from her in a month.I email her every week with updates and advice.Michigan won't assign me to a new one so I'm at a dead end on that one.I'd have to pay out of pocket if i want a job counselor.My last one quit on me....the one that was hired by Michigan works.I had him for a week.Sounds like they can't even find another one for me right now as I'm back on the bottom of the waiting list again.
If i have experience in what I'm applying for i will alter making whatever I've done in the past as 1st choice.

Relax and enjoy the time out of work even though cash is tight try make the most of life.

When I was taking this business success class at school they had us sign up for this site called <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.linkedin.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.linkedin.com</a><!-- w --> you just build your professional profile (it is like myspace for professionals) and you can add your resume and things like that. I guess social networking can help you to find jobs that no one posts in the paper and stuff.

Social networking is the only way to get in right now.The lady that cut my kid's hair today said her husband is in the same boat i am.She told me she doesn't normally work Sundays,but heck..money is tight.She said he's having the same problems.
I'm going to check that site out and see if i can better my resume somehow.
