But It's not that new as they pulled this stunt back in 1976 Re: 09-09-09 - Star - 09-12-2009 i don't want a flu shot and won't pay for one...i hardly ever get sick, and more people get sick from the shot than they would have gotten had they just "braved" every day life. i think it depends on who you ask whether h1n1 is deadly or not - i know that on campus, they've been talking about how it's so much more mild than they originally thought, and you don't have to stay home if you have it for any longer than you should (to be decent) for anything else. but my neighbor flips out and like, wants to isolate herself so that she doesn't get sick. flu of any variety can be deadly, just depends on a lot of factors like your health at the time you got it, your age, etc.
