But fall, fall is like cooler temepratures, decrease in humidity, without the rain and bullshit you get in the spring. Then again cold in Sacramento or the bay area is a relative thing. It don't snow here or anything like that. But I have experienced, and loved REAL fucking cold in the Sierra Nevada mountains. There's this passage in Frankenstein that describes the fiendish joy of a good, cold wind which is burned in my brain: I am already far north of London; and as I walk in the streets of Petersburgh, I feel a cold northern breeze play upon my cheeks, which braces my nerves, and fills me with delight.
