i have a cold, that i think may be turning into the flu. im taking pills and drinking cold medicine, but it seems to be getting worse. fuuuuck. :( this sucks!

Fuckin' aye. I think IL is cursed. The weather is so intense on each level. When it's hot, it's fucking scorching.. and when it's cold, it's freezing. It's rained every single day here since I've been back.

it's been hot here. i think we're all just trying to get back to normal after being out in the sun and whatnot. honestly, as much as i hated the heat and sun there, i hated the nights when our tent was covered in dew even worse. waking up soaking wet was awful.

I had fun, even with all the bullshit. Buuut, I'm not going again if it's in the same place. Realistically, they're only going to sell even more tickets, and Hog Rock just isn't big enough for that many people.

You think they're going to have MORE people next year? I read somewhere that the employees at the Spencer's Gifts stores got FREE tickets.
I was just discussing this shit with Tim, how ICP is starting to become all about the money. I realized that when they made the website of behind the scenes videos a pay site. You can't see the shit without paying. Aren't juggalos supposed to be the poor fuckers?

i realized icp was all about the money the first gathering i went to. honestly, i don't even feel that bad that i didn't see icp. tech n9ne was fucking awesome, and i love twiztid and blaze, but fuck icp at this point. i'm too broke to spend $300 on merch...i didn't even buy a gathering shirt. they're all about soaking up as much as possible, so i try to give them back as little as i can.

I still think the 150 is an EXCELLENT price for everything that goes on there. But, then you have food, merch, gas, and the price of being tired, sweaty, cranky and dealing with a bunch of fuck ups for four days.

no other band even offers anything like the gathering. I had a great time both times i went to gatherings but yes it is expensive.

the ticket price itself honestly is not bad, considering that even if i ONLY would have seen icp, twiztid, and blaze, it would've averaged out to around $50 a ticket. tech n9ne was the most fun i've had in my life. and yes, i'm sure there will be more people next year. they will continue to cram in as many people as they can, because that's more money for them.
