Honestly, if that happened around here, the cops would take the side of the tow company, cuz NJ is all fucked up with corruption, so they probably all get a cut.

a guy went to pay his fine with pennys here not so long ago and was refused.
By law you are only obliged to accept upto 80p in pennys.

I don't understand....money is money...even if it's in pennies.
I got around $100 in change as well....I'd be tempted to do that as well.
However he should have had them wrapped.All the banks I've been to told me they have to be wrapped in order to exchange them for a higher bill/or pay for something.

at the end of it he thanks his friend for loaning him money. he gives him 6 bucks and his friend says you owe me 27. Meaning they only took the rolled pennies even after the cops said she had to take it.
