opposite here, fuckin desert....
! can't wait until we get a real storm, when we get the monsoons, then it's party time. last year the storm we had got up to 100mph winds, it knocked down mad trees and wires. it was badass, it even knocked down all the railroad crossing boards... like all of em for 3 blocks...

out here in AZ they always say it's gonna rain, but they always project it for a week ahead, so if you look 5-7 days from now it will be rain and sun before that, everyday, the rain moves with the calender here....

I'm curious,have you seen any snakes or weird bugs down there that you haven't seen in MI.?
Texas was full of snakes,fire ants,armadillos.....Fire ants scared me the most....because i managed to step on a hill every 2 weeks when i first moved down there.
The only thing I've seen here in MI. are raccoons,skunks and squirrels. I haven't even seen a snake here yet,and I'm always out in the woods by water.

found a baby snake in my backyard once, saw a prairie dog out by the mountain... some billy goats, a road runner, nothing too crazy, ! wanna see a coyote or a scorpion....

Scorpions are bad ass,when they are no where near me....
My dad got stung by one at his old work. He was laying on some wood piles at lunch time,went to get up and got stung on the hand trying to get up.He told me it was nothing more than a bee sting. :? Apparently the poison doesn't effect him,he never went to the hospital.This was a few years back already.

if it was a black scorpion with large claws then the toxin isn't that powerful.
the smaller the claws the more powerful the toxin.

That's not true, there are completely hamless tiny scorpions, but you are correct that the more toxic ones are smaller.

Global warming never mattered in MI, funny because they are one state that would probably benefit from it. Think, it's already surrounded by the great lakes, let some more of that water come in, take care of Detroit, and Viola, Beach side property...

He said it was brown,about 3-4 inches....Really wasn't that big.
