Rip on America... - Paullehh - 07-09-2009 I realise you are not all as stupid as these people but bajajaj Re: Rip on America... - N-Do - 07-09-2009 they had good segments like this on Chasers War for Everything too, they crack me up. A bunch of people couldent even name the date 9/11 happened Re: Rip on America... - sTr - 07-09-2009 america for the most part = retards... look at our last president... and they voted him in twice... Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-09-2009 id rather have bush than obama.. obama hasnt done shit so far.. and i doubt he will do anything but bankrupt the country Re: Rip on America... - sTr - 07-09-2009 Obama is a piece just like bush, both of them were puppets.... Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-09-2009 i agree with that. but if this health care bill goes through.. were fucked. Re: Rip on America... - sTr - 07-09-2009 -we're already there.... sadly.... Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-09-2009 yeah but think about how much worse it will be. everyone will be healthy but for what? noone will have jobs but doctors Re: Rip on America... - Mike Willoughby - 07-09-2009 evulninja Wrote:id rather have bush than obama.. obama hasnt done shit so far.. and i doubt he will do anything but bankrupt the countryNot really, dude. He's been in there for less than a year, and has to fix over 8 years worth of misleading, bad laws, and burnt bridges, you don't give the guy enough credit. He can't just jump into office and magically reverse everything Bush did. Things take time, especially mending the bridges. evulninja Wrote:i agree with that. but if this health care bill goes through.. were fucked. Not at all. My state passed this law already a couple years ago, and I get free health insurance now because I don't make enough money to buy it on my own. I get FREE hospital visits, $1 prescriptions, and $10 co-pays at doctors and dentists. It's not a great idea to force people into buying something, but it definitely pays off. Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-09-2009 eh i dont know about the health care shit.. i think i heard somewhere it was gonna cost like a trillion dollars Re: Rip on America... - Mike Willoughby - 07-09-2009 evulninja Wrote:eh i dont know about the health care shit.. i think i heard somewhere it was gonna cost like a trillion dollarsLet the government worry about the budget with something like this. I normally don't excuse this stuff, but still. It could cost a trillion, but don't forget all the returns the government will get. Insurance companies will grow, add more staff, more offices and buildings, and from that the government receives more taxes from the employees, the land tax, etc. If it wasn't for this new law here, I wouldn't have been able to afford surgery today OR the painkillers and antibiotics I've been on for a week now. Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-09-2009 i hope youre right. its gonna go through wether we want it or not. i know i wouldnt vote for it if it were up to me. Re: Rip on America... - Mike Willoughby - 07-10-2009 evulninja Wrote:i hope youre right. its gonna go through wether we want it or not. i know i wouldnt vote for it if it were up to me.Like I said, I'm definitely not in favor of forcing people to buy a product or service. I think it's ridiculous, especially since insurance companies fuck you in the ass every chance they get, and are quite a greedy, corrupted bunch of fags. However, I am living proof of how it can help the people as well. So even I'm torn on the matter. Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-10-2009 ill probably use it if i have to but im just worried itll bankrupt the country. im all for helping people that need it. i think it should be for people that need transplants and cancer patients and people that dont have money to pay for it. but for people that can work and pay for it themselves, no.. Re: Rip on America... - sTr - 07-10-2009 It's good in theory, but then you'll always have the leeches... look at detroit, the invaded and sucked it dry... Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-10-2009 never been to detroit. i dont think i want to go either. Re: Rip on America... - sTr - 07-10-2009 you don't... it's humid, there's garbage everywhere, bums, asshole cops and way more shit that ! don't want to try and remember right now... Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-10-2009 its way too humid in alabama.. id rather be in alaska or some shit lmao Re: Rip on America... - sTr - 07-10-2009 Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-10-2009 hahahah Re: Rip on America... - Mike Willoughby - 07-10-2009 evulninja Wrote:never been to detroit. i dont think i want to go either.I've been to Detroit. I actually was in the shop where Psychopathic Records makes its merchandise. Detroit is nowhere near as bad as anyone hypes it to be. It reminded me of Worcester, Massachusetts, which is like 20 minutes from me. Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-10-2009 i wish i could go to the gathering. ive never been to one. its too far for me to go in my car though. Re: Rip on America... - Autumn - 07-10-2009 The Gathering isn't in Detroit, Mike. lmao. You could probably make it in your car, anyway. Unless it happens to be on its very last leg. I made it in my beater car last year. :) And, I agree with Mike on giving Obama some time. He's not a genie or anything... Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-10-2009 its still like a thousand miles each way.. my car has 260k miles and its 13 years old! Re: Rip on America... - Autumn - 07-10-2009 My car was a '91. It's around 900 for me, but I'm stopping in Indianapolis again!!! Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-10-2009 i need a new car lol too bad i totalled my other one it only had 50k and it was my grandfathers so it was in excellent condition but it was a gas guzzler Re: Rip on America... - Autumn - 07-10-2009 I'm so worried about how the gas mileage on my new car's going to be. I think it should be pretty good getting there, because it's all highway driving, pretty much. Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-10-2009 my car is good on gas pretty much i get 28.5 mpg. more if its all highway. i have a 14 gallon tank and if im driving all highway i can get a little more than 450 miles to a tank. i made it to atlanta and back in my car on one and a half tanks Re: Rip on America... - Autumn - 07-10-2009 Well, if you could make it to Hotlanta (LMAO), then you could make it to Cave In Rock lol :) Re: Rip on America... - evulninja - 07-10-2009 maybe.. ive never been really far in my car. its only like a 3 and a half hour drive to atlanta. This seems contradictory to me, as many of them flock to US school for undergraduate and graduate degrees, because everyone around the world knows for sure that the United States has the best graduate schools in the world, hands down. If we're such lumbering fools, how then have we been able to establish and maintain such high quality universities? On the issue of electing a president - how can you honestly sit and consider that entirely the fault of the people? Yes, we elect them, but we're not exactly allowed to know/read about every candidate, as our news stations strictly control who gets air time and who does not. Running for president is a business, and a business needs marketing. If you're not allowed to market, no one is going to buy your product. First of all, to even be considered for the live debates on TV, you needed to have a certain amount of campaign funds, which was in the millions (Mike Gravel, for instance, did not meet the qualifications thus was not allowed to debate, even though he was a Senator of Alaska for 12 years). Not to mention Chris Dodd did a study after the debates - the people will the most campaign funds got more questions and time to answer questions than the candidates with lesser funds. If the American people are anything, I would say they are listless - it has simply reached a point where we can't give a shit who is elected because they are all the same. All people in the Senate are slimy crooks, and they have no term limits, so they seldom lose their seat - just look at the Kings of Massachusetts, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy. For the most part, people elected president nowadays are connected to these American Royal Families somehow. We the people simply cannot win, so what's the difference between a Bush and an Obama? Pretty much nothing. What's the difference between a liberal and a conservative? Nothing - they're both extremists. So we might as well not have a universal health care system, because the only people who matter in this country are the rich, so lets give them the best doctors, medicines, and care while the lower classes can slowly rot in neutrality. I worked at Johns Hopkins hospital for a year (when I was doing my PhD), which is usually ranked #1 or #2 in the country (in contention with Harvard), and the shit I saw some medical doctors present was enough to make me sick (and them sick, too). /rant Re: Rip on America... - Paullehh - 07-10-2009 I take it back, you are all tards.
