Do not get a sony phone. My girlfriend got one because she works for Sony and regrets the shit out of it. I'd say get a Nexus 5, the 6 would be too big for your dainty pockets. You won't regret it.

it's just not good quality. compared to my Nexus, it runs like a phone from last generation.
She did an update and it borked the phone. We undid the update, ran it again and had the same problem.
The main issue with Sony is that everything is so proprietary, from hardware to software. The good thing about Android is that it's open source, so most issues you can go on the internet and get a solution. Sony uses Android, but they use a custom Sony version that changes everything and essentially makes the open source part null.
