I'm getting Nervous 1 week until the baby's here - dirtymonkey22 - 08-16-2013
1 week until the baby's here,but what I nervous about is there's complications and it looks like he will be disabled, and the doc will have to put him on a ventilator, they believe he has femoral hypoplasia unusual facies syndrome it were the long bones are Short and he has a small Jaw thats why he needs the ventilator he's also about 4-7 weeks behind in size for where he should be,
its been nerve racking and the docs we had kept going on like it wasent that big of a deal and with in the last month through my wife talking to people we got referred to U of M and finally got a few answers.

I was nervous and anxious with the birth of my perfectly healthy daughter I can't even imagine how bad it is for you. I hope and predict that this part the waiting and not knowing will be the hardest part. Once you know for sure what is wrong and how they intend to deal with it you can finally have some closer and be able to plan your life around the new circumstances. You are a good person and and are a smart person and the doctors and treatments are better than they have ever been , so I am guessing you , your wife and your child will be OK. If for some reason you do need help I am here for you and you just let me know what you need. Or even if you just need someone to talk to or someone just to listen I am here.

hopefuly the health problems do not impact his quality of life to much. Sorry to hear there is complications but if the doctors dont think its to big of a deal mabey its not??
