Or, take them outside. Not just saying this aboot you, but parents in general. They'd rather sit their kids in front of the tv before taking them outside to ride a bike, or explore nature.

I'm still not completely sold on it, ill wait awhile to see if the price drops, and what titles are offered on it. The only game that had consistent replay value on the og wii for me was Mario kart, so maybe after they release that..

Awesome... What time were you planning on leaving (afternoon or nightish)? I don't have any plans that I know of but the onslaught of Dr's I've been going to are usually scheduled in the afternoon, so I have to make an effort to make earlier appointments or not schedule any that day

I do not have a Wii u but I do have a 360 and after some time of the kid getting overly addicted to the game we had to cut him off. He <7 year old boy Mikey> was lying about whether or not he had homework not finishing his reading and fighting me and my brother in law for time on the game system. I aggree with the let them be happy with what they have sentiment. For the record to get him to get out more and interact more socially I put Mikey into Boyscouts. His grades have improved and he hardly cares about the game system any more. To get my daughter off of being content with TV <shes only 2> I got her into finger-painting and drawing er more scribbling. Not saying video games and tv are evil but all things in moderation. I just suggest they have other activities as well.
In short Wii U for U not them and maybe get the kids into some more productive activity.
that thing is 400$ man you could do a lot for a kid with that.

i just keep forgetting, ive been playing the cave a lot lately, its pretty fun, but kind of short, you can play through it several times with different characters that unlock seperate areas though, and it waso nly 15 bucks

get the deluxe, for sure, without it, you cant really download any games, theres just not enough space on the hard drive for it. and there are some really awesome games to download
