Today, on Jan 15, 2013, we thought your grandma was going to have surgery and have a stint open blocked arteries..but because of a series of arteries that are blocked; we found out the doctor's want to do quadruple bypass surgery, which they are scheduling asap. Call a soon as you can. Love, Dad and Linda.
She is a wonderful woman and she has spent her whole adult life volunteering for the elderly at the nursing home/hospital. They expect her to pull thru it. The procedure involves taking a vein from her leg and using it to Bypass the blockage. Her and my grandfather have been married since September 11, 1964. That is pretty incredible in today's standards to hear about people staying married for Nearly 60 years.
My grandfather is happy to hear from all of the family but it is kinda sad that sometimes it takes a serious illness or death for us to realise how much someone means to us.
Again I say tell the people you love that you love them and spend as much time with them as you can because life is fragile.
Update on the new years Miracle story My old neighbor died last Tuesday I found out when I told my mother about my grandmother having heart trouble.

Best wishes for a speedy and flawless recovery for your gram. My pop had a quad bypass many years ago, and he's still as healthy as ever.

Mom's surgery went very well and she is in recovery for the next couple of hours, then intensive care for a couple of days with two full time nurses 24/7. Thanks for the prayers, continue to pray that she heals quickly from the surgery
I was happy to read that.
Everyone was telling me the procedure had been done so many times before but I was still really worried because its my grandma.
