BoB Costas a Sports analyst on Gun control - insane - 12-05-2012
Following the football player killing his girlfriend and himself, Bob Costas a sports analyst decided to get all political and express his opinion on the subject. He said if dude didn't have a gun that he and his girlfriend would still be alive.
He then referred to a time when Coach Tony Dungy asked 80 players who owned a gun, 65 raised their hand. Costas said it is a bad idea to get all of these aggressive athletes in their twenty's guns. He said the accessibility of guns makes it much more likely for tragedies to happen and that he cannot think of a single time when an athlete used a gun to get out of a dangerous situation.
While I do agree with some of his points I don't think that Gun control should be discussed on a sports show.

i would bet that those 65 owned guns legally... otherwise they wouldnt have raised their hands... its not the legal guns that cause the problem, its the illegal ones.... and even still, ban legal guns entirely and you wouldnt even make a dent in gun crimes.... destroy every gun in america and knife crimes will just fill in the gap.
