MMA News: UFC 151 Canceled - BiggGameJames - 08-24-2012
For the first time in company history, the Ultimate Fighting Championship has canceled its UFC 151 event, which was slated to take place on September 1st.
The event was to be headlined by Jon Jones vs. Dan Henderson, but Henderson was forced to pull out of the event due to a knee injury. MMAFighting.com reports that the UFC was unable to secure another opponent for Jones to face, despite Chael Sonnen telling UFC President Dana White that he would step in and take Henderson's place. Because of this, White announced that the entire event would be canceled.
Jones will now face Lyoto Machida on September 22nd at UFC 152 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I don't give a fuck what people say, this shit is scripted. The fights may be real, but all this suspense... they're selling PPVs.

No, I love it, but I just find it hilarious how the fans talk shit about the fake drama in WWE, but they're falling for the same shit. In 1990 you couldn't TELL someone that wrestling was fake. Now it's like that with UFC. I still think MMA is awesome, and I know the fights are real though.

Douglas Lima has broken hand, final match against Ben Saunders shot this summer
The final match in Bella Thurs welterweight tournament between Douglas Lima and Ben Saunders has been postponed to the summer after Lima broke his hand in training, announces Bellator. The idea was that the final match of the eighth season would have gone March 21 with a rematch between Lima and Saunders, but currently they will both gentlemen to wait.
