- Chris Jericho was bidding farewell to friends backstage at SummerSlam and Raw this weekend. Jericho is leaving the WWE following a nine month run to focus on his band Fozzy. Jericho was telling people he had other goals to reach and that he would be back to WWE at some point.
- Paul Heyman is believed to have signed a contract extension as his original deal was only up until the SummerSlam pay-per-view.
