SUMMERSLAM 2012 LIVE SHOW
The 25th annual Summerslam kicks with a recap of the past Summerslams they call the match between HHH and Brock Lesnar the perfect storm as they show a recap of what lead to the match tonight between HHH and Lesnar. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome everyone to Summerslam emanating from Los Angeles.
Dolph Ziggler vs Chris Jericho
Vickie comes out and introduces Dolph as they make their way to the ring. The lights go out as the music hits for the arrival of Y2J. Jericho makes his way out to the ring. They show the attack on Y2J by Ziggler this past Friday on Smackdown. Ziggler and Jericho attempt to lock up but Ziggler goes out of the ring as Jericho is hot on his trail. They get back in the ring and Jericho takes control with chops and then a right hand to Ziggler. Ziggler is taken down with a shoulder block and a chop from Jericho. Jericho kicks Ziggler in the gut and then goes for a suplex but its reversed and Ziggler kicks Y2J in the gut and then drops Jerichos stomach on his knee. Ziggler backs Jericho in the corner and they both begin punching each other but Jericho is able to toss Ziggler over the top rope. Jericho attempts to dropkick Ziggler but ends up falling out of the ring as Ziggler goes on the attack on Jericho and goes for a pin and gets a two on Jericho. Ziggler starts kicking Jericho and getting in the face of Jericho saying he canât hang with Ziggler. Ziggler kicks Jericho in the ribs and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Ziggler has Jericho in a submission but Jericho is able to fight back up punching and chopping him as Ziggler splashes Jericho in the corner and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Ziggler hits Jericho with a Neck breaker and the one foot pin and gets a two count as Vickie cheers on. Jericho is able to rolls up Ziggler for a two count and then gets taken down by Ziggler. Ziggler attempts another splash but misses as Jericho is now in control with a shoulder block. But Ziggler kicks Jericho in the ribs again and then throws Jericho in the corner and charges but misses. Jericho goes to the second rope and hits an axhandle on Jericho. Ziggler goes for a pin and gets a two count. Jericho goes for a pin on Ziggler and gets a two count. Ziggler puts a sleeper on Jericho.
Jericho is able to fight out of the sleeper and does a Hurricarana on Ziggler from the top rope and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Ziggler hits a big DDT on Jericho and goes for a pin and gets a two count.
Both men punch each other as they both get to their feet. Jericho hits a running bulldog on Ziggler and then a Lionsalt but misses as Ziggler hits the Zig Zag and then goes for a pin and gets a two count and Vickie canât believe it. Jericho hits the Code Breaker on Ziggler but Ziggler rolsl out of the ring. Jericho goes out after Ziggler and puts him back in the ring. Vickie distracts Chris allowing Ziggler to roll up Jericho and go for a pin and gets a two count. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho and ZIggler submits.
Winner: Y2J
After the match Jericho celebrate in the ring as Ziggler and Vickie look on in disgust. They show a Slim Jim commercial. They show the outside of Los Angeles as Cole and Lawler thank the people of LA. Cole and Lawler talk about the match between Lesnar and HHH as they show the attack on HBK by Lesnar last Monday night. They show a Tweet from HBK about tonights match. Backstage Striker interview Lesnar and Heyman, Heyman talks about what happened earlier as HHH told Armstrong about letting it be a fight to the finish. Heyman says Lesnar will win and break the spirit of WWE. Lesnar says this is a fight he cannot win. Heyman says if your not down with that they have two words for you Tap Out.
Daniel Bryan vs Kane
Daniel Bryan is out first yelling No to the crowd as they Pyro hits and Kane makes his way out to the ring. DB and Kane lock up and Kane takes Bryan down. Kane throws DB in the corner and charges but misses. Kane slams DB down and then a kick to the face. Kane punches and kicks DB in the corner and throws into the next corner but misses. Kane gives a big boot to the face and then goes for a pin and gets a two count. DB attacks the leg of Kane and starts punching and kicking Kane to each corner until Kane grabs DB and throws him out of the ring. Kane goes outside after DB but Bryan gets back in the ring. Daniel charges through the ropes at Kane and both men are down. Kane gets back in the ring and DB goes to the top rope with a missile dropkick and a pin and gets a one count on Kane. The crowd chant Yes and it is getting to DB as he begins kicking Kane chanting NO. Kane is able to fight back and take DB down with a forearm. Kane throws DB in each corner and charges with a big clothesline and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Kane is at the top rope and hits a big clothesline and goes for the Chokeslam but DB reverses and clotheslines Kane which stuns Kane. DB slaps Kane in the face which infuriates Kane and Kane goes on the attack kicking and punching DB. Daniel goes for the No Lock but Kane fights out and DB kicks Kane in the head. DB goes to the top rope chanting No and goes for the Flying Headbutt but is caught by Kane who gives DB a big ChokeSlam. Kane is up and signaling for the Tombstone but DB reverses and rolls up Kane for the win.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
After the match DB runs out the ring as Kane looks on in disbelief and chases DB back to the back. Backstage Kane is on the war path as Josh Mathews interviews Kane but Kane asks where is DB and Mathews Says he doesnât know and Kane Throws him. They show a drinking and driving commercial.

The Miz(Champ) vs Rey Mysterio â Intercontinental Championship Match
Rey Mysterio is out first as King Mentions Rey is dressed in homage to the Batman movie. Miz is out next. Miz and Mysterio lock up as Miz takes control with a shoulder block on Mysterio. They lock up again but this time Mysterio takes Miz down and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Miz is back in control with kicks and punches. Miz throws Mysterio out of the ring through the bottom rope. Miz drops Mysterio onto the barricade and then grabs Mysterio and throws him back in and goes for a pin and gets a one count. Miz hits a suplex on Mysterio but Mysterio reverses and starts kicking Miz. Miz hits a backbreaker on Mysterio and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Miz starts punching Mysterio over and over and kicks Mysterio in the face and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Mysterio starts to take control but Miz hits him with a big clothesline as Miz looks on and then clotheslines Mysterio in the corner and then just sits there for a moment and goes to the top rope but Mysterio knocks Miz off the top rope. Mysterio is on the top rope and hits a sit ton bomb. Miz catches Mysterio and powerbombs him and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Mysterio kicks Miz in the head and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Mysterio hits a big DDT on Miz and goes for the pin and gets a two count. Mysterio goes to the top rope but is stopped by Miz. Mysterio fights back and knocks Miz down and goes for the 619 and then goes to the top rope for the splash but misses. Mysterio rolls Miz as Miz was about to go for the Skull Crushing Finale up and gets a two count. Miz is able to hit the Skull Crushing Finale again and gets the pin and the win.
Winner: Miz
After the match Miz gathers his senses as they go on to show the new WWE App. Backstage Eve and Teddy Long leave AJâs Locker room. Teddy says he really likes the way AJ runs things. Punk is outside AJâs Locker room and then enters with a big smile as AJ has a big smile as well. Punk says being in a triple threat where he doesnât have to be pinned is unfair and the only reason she put him in the match is because AJ proposed and Punk denied her. AJ goes into a daze and it is angering Punk but Punk says he will prove to everyone that he will come out on top and tomorrow everyone will show him the respect he deserves on Raw. Cole and Lawler go on to talk about the World Heavyweight Championship match and what lead up to the match.
Sheamus(Champ) vs Alberto Del Rio â World Heavyweight Championship match
Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio first as Del Rio enters the arena in his luxurious car a 2010 Ferrari. Sheamus makes his way out next as Del Rio looks on. Del Rio and Sheamus lock up as they fight into the corner and the ref backs them up. They lock up again and Del Rio backs Sheamus into the corner again as the ref counts and Del Rio breaks away. They lock up again and both fall over the top rope. Both Men are fighting outside the ring as Sheamus throws Del Rio back in the ring. Del Rio gains control with kicks over and over. Sheamus is able to hit a neck breaker on Del Rio and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Sheamus fights Del Rio in the corner with a flurry of punches but Del Rio is able to reverse for a moment as Sheamus hits a rolling sitton on Del Rio. Sheamus goes for an Electri Chair but Del Rio breaks free and its shown that Del Rio loosened up the turnbuckle. Sheamus is knocked to the outside as Del Rio goes out after him. Del Rio throws Sheamus into the steps and rolls him into the ring. Del Rio goes to the top rope and knocks Sheamus down with an as Handle. Del Rio has Sheamus in a headlock as Sheamus fights up with punches and breaks free. Del Rio kicks Sheamus in the face and Del Rio the grabs Sheamus and wraps his neck in the ropes as ref counts. Del Rio has Sheamus in a headlock and again Sheamus fights up with headbutts but a knee to the gut takes Sheamus down again. Del Rio goes for a pin and gets a two count again. Del Rio mocks Sheamus saying he will go for the Brogue kick but misses as Sheamus fights back with bit punches and charges into Del Rio in the corner but misses. Del Rio comes toward Sheamus and Knocks him down. Del Rio drops Sheamusâs arm onto Del Rios Knee from the top rope. Del Rio goes for the Rolling Cross Armbreaker as the ref asks Sheamus but Sheamus powers out and slams Del Rio down and breaks free. Sheamus hits White Noise on Del Rio and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick but ends up backing Del Rio into the corner and the pounds on Del Rioâs Chest Ten times. Sheamus has Del Rio in the corner and punches him 5 times until Del Rio drops Sheamusâs head onto the exposed turnbuckle and then kicks Sheamus in the head. Del Rio goes for a pin and gets a two count. Del Rio is upset and attacks Ricardo and then the ref gets Ricardo out of the ring as Rodriguez throws his shoe to Del Rio and Sheamus catches it and hits Del Rio in the head and hits the White Noise for the win.
Winner: Sheamus
After the match Del Rio and Ricardo are beside themselves as it appears Del Rio argues that he had his foot on the ropes but the ref says his decision is final. They show a National Guard commercial about WWE partnering up with the National Guard. They show that some of the Armed forces are in the audience. Cole and Lawler talk about Night of Champions in one month, and talk about Piers Morgan and Mike Tyson at odds about who will win. They show what occurred earlier with Triple H and Referee Scott Armstrong and HHH saying it will be a fight to the finish. Cole and Lawler saying that HBK will not be in HHHâs corner but has been tweeting about the match tonight.
R Truth and Kofi Kingston (Champs) vs Prime Time Players
The Prime Time Players are out first as they show the attack on Truth by the PTP. Truth and Kofi are out next. Darren Young and Truth lock up first with Truth taking control quickly with a flurry of punches and kicks and then a hiptoss and then a leg drop. Truth goes for a pin and gets a two count. Darren is able to tag Titus but Truth fights both Titus and Darren off until Titus just knocks Truth down with a punch. Titus knocks Truth down with a big punch to the back. Truth tags Kofi and he comes in a house of fire and takes Titus down. Kofi goes for Trouble in Paradise but Darren Young distracts Kofi allowing Titus to roll out of the ring. They get back in the ring where Titus is in complete control. Darren is tagged back in and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Darren puts Kofi in a submission but Kofi is able to get out and go for a pin and gets a two count. Darren tags in Titus and Titus kicks Kofi and puts him in an abdominal Stretch. Kofi is able to fight out as both men are down. Both men tag in their partners and Darren and Truth are in now with Truth in control and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Kofi takes out Titus, as Truth and Darren are in the ring; Darren rolls Truth up and gets a two count. Truth is able to roll up Darren for the win to retain their titles.
Winners: Kofi and Truth
After the match Truth, Kofi and Little Jimmy celebrate as they show all the events from Summerslam weekend. They go back to Cole and Lawler as they talk about what they did this weekend. Cole and Lawler talk about what is up next the WWE Championship match between Punk, Cena, and Big Show.
Cm Punk vs John Cena vs Big Show â WWE Title Match
John Cena is out first as you hear a mixture of boos and cheers from the crowd in Los Angeles. Big Show is out next, and Punk is out last. Cole says it is the 274th day for Punk as Champ. The bell rings as Cena and Show go on to attack Show but Show overpowers both men and knocks them both down. Show punches both Cena and Punk. Show is in complete control and goes on to throw Punk in the corner and then chops Cena. Show chops Punk for good measure and then again to Cena. Cena is able to fight up and then Punk as well as they double team Show and go for a double suplex but Show reverses and Show suplexes both Cena and Punk. Show squashes Cena in the corner and Cena rolls outside, Show squashes Punk in the corner and then goes off the ropes and Punk takes Showâs leg out from under him. Punk attempts to go for the GTS but canât get Show up. Cena gets Show up and Punk knocks them both down. Punk rolls Cena up but Show grabs Punk and Punches him in the stomach and stands on his back. Show has Punk and throws him into the turnbuckle hard. Show punches Punk in the gut and chops him and then Show throws Cena out of the ring. Show drops Punk and then goes for the WMD but Cena is back in but is taken out by Show with a spear and Show goes for the pin and gets a two count. Show positions both Punk and Cena for the Vader Bomb but Punk misses and Show catches Cena and goes for the pin but Punk breaks the count. Show throws Punk out of the ring and then goes for Cena and headbutts him. Show grabs Punk and throws him into the ropes outside. Show and Cena are back in the ring fighting but Show takes Cena down with a sideslam and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Cena hits a suplex on Show as Cena goes for the 5 knuckle shuffle but is taken down by Punk. Punk goes to the top rope and hits the big elbow and goes for the pin and gets a two count. Punk kicks Show in the head and then locks Show in a submission. Show is able to power out of the submission and chops Punk. Cena back in the ring and hits the STF on Show. Show powers out and gets to his feet with Cena on his back. Show slams Cena down hard but is clotheslined by Punk. Punk hits the high knee in the corner three times and then hits the running bulldog but Show powers out, Cena is on the top rope with a big Legdrop. Both Punk and Cena have Show in a submission and Show taps out as both Cena and Punk think they won but Ref looks confused. GM of Raw AJ Lee makes her way down to the ring grabs the mic both men argues as to who won. Punk says let the fans decide who won. AJ says to restart the match as Show hits a double ChokeSlam on Cena and Punk and tries to pin both and gets a two count on both Punk and Cena. Show goes for the WMD but misses it on Cena as Cena hits the AA but gets thrown out of the ring by Punk. Punk rolls up Show for the win.
Winner: CM PUNK
After the match Cena looks on in disbelief as Punk celebrates in the ring and then with the fans saying you gotta respect that. They show the Los Angeles area and the Star of Vince Mcmahon on the Hollywood walk of fame. They show Piers Morgan, Fred Durst, Rick Rubin, David Arquette, Maria Menounos all sitting ringside. They show a sneak peek of the new WWE Films movie The Day which is in Theaters on Aug 29. The cast is also watching Summerslam ringside. Cole and Lawler talk about the Summerslam Preshow match between Santino Marella and Antonio Cesaro. Cesaro is the New Us Champ.
Kevin Rudolph Performance
Lilian introduces Kevin Rudolph who comes out to perform the Summerslam Theme Song. They show the crowd and the Ring announcers dancing. The WWE Divas all come out and dance on the stage as well.

Triple H vs Brock Lesnar â No DQ, No Count out Fight to the Finish
Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman make their way out to the ring first. Brock gets to the ring and starts walking around the ring with Paul Heyman looking on with a big smile. Triple H is out next to a huge ovation from the crowd. Justin does in ring introductions for both Brock Lesnar and Triple H. Bell rings and Lesnar takes it too HHH backing him the corner. Triple H tries to fight back but Brock puts the Kimora lock on Triple H briefly as HHH is in the ropes. Triple H clotheslines Brock over the top rope. Lesnar is back in the ring and backs him in the corner charges into HHH and Triple H gives Brock a high knee and then throws him out of the ring. Lesnar is infuriated as Heyman is trying to calm him down. Lesnar is back in the ring and takes his gloves off and then takes HHH down and punches Triple H in the back of the head. HHH rolls out of the ring as both men fight outside. Ref is not counting and asking HHH to get back in the ring. Lesnar drags HHH in the ring by his hair as HHH fights up with a few punches but Lesnar slams HHH on his arm weakening it. Lesnar kicks HHH in the corner as Heyman looks on. Lesnar has Triple H in an armbar and then throws him into the turnbuckle. Lesnar grabs HHH to give him the F5 but HHH counters momentarily as Lesnar hits a German Suplex. Lesnar stomps on the arm of HHH. Triple H starts punching Lesnar stunning him and then drops him with a DDT. Lesnar slams HHH on his bad arm and then gives him a knee to the gut. Triple H rolls out of the ring as Lesnar goes out after him and Throws HHH into the stairs.
Lesnar knocks the Spanish announce table over on its side and then climbs it and drops an ax handle onto HHH. They get back in the ring as Lesnar rolls up HHH for a two count. Lesnar drops Triple H with a huge Clothesline. Lesnar attempts a suplex on HHH but Triple H reverses and hits the suplex on Lesnar. Lesnar is back to his feet and charges into HHH but misses as HHH tries for the Pedigree but Lesnar countered and threw HHH out of the ring. Lesnar goes out of the ring after HHH but Triple H throws Lesnar into the announce table. Lesnar is holding his stomach as it appears Lesnar hit the corner of the announce table on his stomach. Lesnar is back in the ring as Triple H is back in as well. Lesnar attempts the Kimora but several knees to the gut takes Lesnar down. Triple H hits the spinebuster on Lesnar and then a boot to the gut for the Pedigree but Lesnar reverses for an F5 but HHH reverses and hits the Pedigree this time and goes for the pin and gets a two count. Lesnar hits a lowblow on HHH as the ref is tempted to ring the bell but remembered that HHH wanted it to be a fight to the finish. Lesnar has HHH and hits the F5 and goes for a pin and gets a two count. Lesnar and Heyman are in shock, Lesnar goes for the Kimora but HHH tries to fight and Lesnar locks in the Kimora, HHH makes it to the ropes but ref canât break the hold. HHH punches Lesnar in the gut over and over to break the hold and hits the Pedigree a second time and goes for the pin but Lesnar counters and hits the Kimora lock in the middle of the ring. HHH tries to fight out but ends up Tapping out.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
