Locations
Steak 'n Shake restaurants are currently located in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Steak 'n Shake restaurants in Sheridan and Colorado Springs, Colorado are also planned.[4][5]
In 2011, Steak n' Shake expanded again with new locations in San Antonio, Houston, and Austin, Texas, and Covington, Louisiana. In January of 2012, they opened their first location in New York City.[6] On the January 12, 2012 episode of The Late Show with David Letterman, Indiana native David Letterman featured the newly opened Steak 'n Shake Signature beside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City.
Steak 'n Shake has also opened a location inside the South Point Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.[7]
Steak 'n Shake plans to open 25 restaurants in Southern California.[

lol, they are everywhere here in Indianapolis, and always have been. It's funny the things you take for granted and other people are just discovering it.
There's one across the street from my job, so it's my omgawdimsofuckinghungryanddonthavetimetogetanythingelse place, but not anything special.
They do have yummy milkshakes, and a bomb ass chicken guacamole sammich.

I don't really like burger joints anymore. I eat for nutrients, not as an alternative to masturbation. Sometimes I go to Stewart's (the root beer place) and get a burger and fries. Mostly my favorite burgers are me buying some ground beef, and throwing them on the grill.

I don't consider these burger joints "fast food." These are the places that boast greasy fries, giant hormone-injected burgers? Stuff like that. That's different. Like, put a McDonald's Quarter Pounder next to a Five Guys burger. It's a different thing. McDonald's is convenient, Five Guys is alternate to fapping.
