My 2012 GOTJ... - Autumn - 08-07-2012
Today, or yesterday I should say, is bittersweet. My kitty died around 5:30. But, I don't want to talk about that.
Anyway, got outta work early and left about 5 hours before we expected to. Slept for 2 hours at a rest stop in Ohio. Just got into Indiana and we stopped at ihop. We're about an hour away from Fred's place. Gonna eat and hit the road. More as events progress. Wish me luck!

We made it. Didn't get pulled over, didn't fall asleep at the wheel, and we've been awake for so many hours that I can't believe my eyes are able to still be open. Hung out at Fred's house for hours, harassed him, he beat me up, and was an awesome host. <3 He even gave us gifts (which he didn't have to do!). And, I kinda spooned with him. HOT!
They're making us wait in the giant parking lot/field until 8 am, apparently. I need some sleep now before I start seeing things.

Its always gonna be like that, every year there's tons of assholes that try and ruin it for everyone else. I remember one year people were filling up empty bottles with rocks and throwing them into the crowds. How much of a dick do you have to be to think that's cool?

True, I would love for it to be possible to get everyone together for the next go around, but there's so much that can happen in a year, and everyone all grown and shit so sometimes other responsibilities get in the way.
