WWE Raw Results (8/6) * - BiggGameJames - 08-06-2012
Welcome to Raw tonight emanating from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Raw kicks off with a recap of AJ making the main event for Summerslam being Cm Punk vs John Cena vs Big show. Cole and lawler welcome everyone to the show as Justin introduces AJ and she makes her way to the ring and welcomes everyone to the show. Cm Punk makes his way to the ring and demands AJ to cancel the main event or find Punk another opponent. AJ refuses and Punk says she wonât cancel because he humiliated her by not accepting her proposal. John Cenaâs music hit and he makes his way to the ring. Cena grabs the mic and says he canât believe Punk is now one of those type of guys who thinks they deserve respect. Cena says he could have had one opponent but thanks to Punk he now has two opponents. Punk says he didnât stick his nose in Cenaâs business, when actually Cena stuck his nose into Punks expert commentating. Cena says Punk has little to no chance of Punk says he didnât stick his nose in Cenaâs business, when actually Cena stuck his nose into Punks expert commentating. Cena says Punk has little to no chance of winning. Big Shows music hits and he makes his way down, AJ attempts to get control and says that Cena, Show, and Cena will all be in matches. Punks match will be chosen by the fans on twitter either miz, mysterio or Kane. Punks Match is announced to be up next as AJ exits. They show a recap of Brock breaking Triple Hâs arm and that Brock is in the arena tonight.
Commercial Break
Cm Punk vs Rey Mysterio
Raw returns from break as Punk awaits his opponent chosen by the WWE Universe. The fans choose Rey Mysterio. Mysterioâs music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Punk and Mysterio lock up and Punk backs Mysterio into the corner but then breaks clean. They lock up again and Rey goes for the leg of Punk. Rey throws Punk into the turnbuckle and then charges and Punk misses and Mysterio hits the steel post. Punk is now in control but Rey fights out only to have Punk give Mysterio a tilt a whirl slam. Punk goes up to the top but Mysterio kicks Punk in the head and Punk hits the floor as they go to commercial.
Commercial Break
Raw returns from break as the match between Punk and Mysterio is still in progress and Rey goes up to the top rope and Punk goes up with him. Punk hits Mysterio and goes for a superplex and hits it as it stuns both but Punk is able to go for a pin and only get a two count. Punk is in complete control with a leg lock on Mysterio, but Mysterio bites Punk to break free. Punk then throws Mysterio out of the ring. Mysterio is quick to get back in the ring and go off the top rope. Mysterio kicks Punk and goes for the pin and gets only a two count. Punk has Mysterio in the GTS but Mysterio reverses it and now Mysterio goes for the 619 and hits it and then up to the top rope and misses as Punk goes for the GTS again and this time gets it and the win.
Winner: Cm Punk
After the match Punk celebrates in the ring as he sits on the top turnbuckle and says he is the best in the world. They announce Randy Orton vs Big Show for later tonight and Cena vs Daniel Bryan also. They go backstage with Del Rio and Ricardo trying to park his black Ferrari.
Raw returns from break they show a clip of Wade Barrett who will be returning real soon. They go backstage with AJ as Del Rio comes in and says AJ is doing a great job as a GM compared to Booker T. Del Rio says see Ricardo and we thought AJ was going to do something crazy which angers AJ who had not scheduled Del Rio for a match but now is in a match is up next. Del Rio tells Ricardo to get Del Rioâs bags. They announce that HBK is in the building and will be on the show later tonight.

Alberto Del Rio vs Christian
Raw returns from break as they show Christian in the ring waiting for Alberto Del Rio to make his way to the ring. Del Rios music hits and Ricardo comes out running to make the introduction for Del Rio. Del Rio still in the process of removing his shirt and is ready to compete. They show a clip from last month when Del Rio savagely beat Sheamus with the hood of Del Rioâs car.
Del Rio and Christian lock up as Del Rio takes control and throws Christian into the ringpost and then the barricade and then back in the ring as he goes for a pin and only gets a two count. Del Rio is working on Christians arm but Christian fights back up only to get dropped again by Del Rio. Christian is back in control and is up to the top rope and hits a cross body and pin and only gets a two count. Del Rio regains control for a moment as Christian goes for the spear but misses. Del Rio takes his boot off and hit Christian and then does the cross arm breaker for the win.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
After the match Alberto Del Rio puts his boot back on and celebrates as Ricardo applauds. Sheamus comes on the Titan Tron as he is shown by Albertoâs Car showing that the keys are left in it and says he is going to take Del Rios car around town site seeing and takes off. Del Rio is really upset and runs to the back. They promote the match with Randy Orton vs Show coming up next.

Randy Orton vs Big Show
Raw returns from break as they show the Alamo in San Antonio, they go back to the arena and Randy Ortonâs music hits and Orton makes his way to the ring. Big Shows music hits and Show makes his way down to the ring. Orton and Show lock up and Show quickly shoves Orton down and backs Orton into the corner. Before Show can chop Orton he quicly backs out and takes control and has Show in the corner and hits him several times. Show pushes Orton off and knocks him down and then steps on Orton. Show headbutts Orton and says Ortons in over his head. Randy fights back punches and kicks Show but Show fights back and regains control and has Randy in a headlock. Orton fights back and breaks the head lock, Show shoves Orton and then charges but Orton kicks Show. Orton dropkicks Show and down goes Show as Orton prepares to do the RKO but doesnât hit and Show hits the Chokeslam and pin and only gets a two count. Orton rolls out of the ring Show goes out after Orton and they both fight outside. Show throws Orton back in the ring and goes for the Chokeslam again but Orton fights back but Show throws Orton outside again. Show has Orton on the announce table and give Orton a big chop. Show picks up Orton and tries to throw him into the ringpost but Orton reverses it and throws show in. Show spears Orton and they are both laid out as the referee counts to ten and calls for double count out.
Winner: No Winner Double Count Out
After the match Show and Orton are back in the ring as Show goes for the WMD but misses and Orton hits the RKO.

Hawkins and Reks vs Ryback â Handicapped Match
Raw returns as they show Reks and Hawkins in the ring awaiting their opponent. Rybackâs music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Reks locks up with Ryback and quickly gets control but Ryback fights back and slams Reks and then beats Reks but Reks fights out and tags Hawkins. Ryback knocks Hawkins down and then Hawkins tags in Reks again. Reks clotheslines Ryback and goes for the pin but not able to keep the big man down. Quick tags between Hawkins and Ryback, Hawkins goes for a pin but doesnât keep the big man down. Ryback backdrops Hawkins outsides onto Reks. Ryback clotheslines Hawkins and gets Hawkins up for his marching slam and the win.
Winner: Ryback
After the match they promote the match between Cena vs Daniel Bryan as they go to commercial.

For sure, good guy punk is lame. His character is that he's a dick, if you do't him be a dick there is no reason for his being.
