Vegas - BiggGameJames - 08-02-2012 That is like my home away from home so much things to do there i want to move there one day. Re: Vegas - sTr - 08-02-2012 Vegas is pretty sweet, but ! can't imagine living there. Re: Vegas - BiggGameJames - 08-02-2012 sTr Wrote:Vegas is pretty sweet, but ! can't imagine living there. if i do move there i'm not driving there the traffic sucks there and stuff coast a lot there Re: Vegas - OddBallFreak - 08-02-2012 I was kinda disappointed with Vegas, everyone hypes it up so much, that I think it couldn't have ever been as good as I was expecting. I think the only two descriptions I got that were on point is that the streets are literally paved with naked ladies, and the vast majority of the poker players are easy money. Re: Vegas - BiggGameJames - 08-02-2012 i rather live in Vegas then here i'm sick of Barstow Re: Vegas - sTr - 08-02-2012 You gotta take the people in consideration. Move somewhere where communities are abundant [ Post made via Mobile Device ] Re: Vegas - BiggGameJames - 08-02-2012 plus i got family there Re: Vegas - Juggahoe - 08-02-2012 So let me get this straight. You want to move to Vegas but dont plan on driving anywhere or buying anything? Thats some top notch logic right there. Re: Vegas - BoneZugz - 08-02-2012 I would love to live in So Cal, prolly not Riverside where I was when I was there, but it was only a 4 hour drive from Vegas, I really need to go back, I went everywhere there was, but walking through a casino I got mean mugged and made to keep walking so I didnt hit a slot machine or something since I was 17 at the time agag. Re: Vegas - Juggahoe - 08-02-2012 I concur, Riverside is horrible. I've been going to the casinos around here, playing slot and ordering drinks ever since I was 18 or so.. It was kind of silly in retrospect, a kid I knew who went underage got carded. They banned him from going into any of the properties until he was legal, and suspended his drivers license for like 4 years, even though he wasn't drinking or anything. Re: Vegas - sTr - 08-02-2012 how the fuck were they able to suspend his drivers license? shit is scary Re: Vegas - OddBallFreak - 08-02-2012 The Casino Control Act (N.J.S.A. 5:12-119) prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from gambling in an Atlantic City casino or any simulcast facility. If an individual is convicted of underage gambling the penalty is a disorderly persons offense which is a criminal charge that becomes part of your criminal record. A conviction for underage gambling will also result in a fine of between $500 and $1,000 and the individual's driver's license will be suspended for six months. If the individual is under 17 and has not yet obtained a driver's license, the issuance of that person's driver's license will be postponed for six months. If a parent or a person who has custody or control of a person under the age of 21 allows an underage individual to gamble, that person can be charged with a disorderly persons offense. N.J.S.A. 5:12-119©. I guess I was wrong about the length of time it was suspended, or maybe 6 months is the minimum, I dunno.. The kid was really dumb though, to let himself be caught. I know of other people that went underage and if anyone asked for i.d they would just ignore them and walk away. The "security" in a majority of the places is a joke, mostly 60 year old ladies and out of shape guys they pay minimum wage to just stand around. Re: Vegas - juggalogigolo - 08-02-2012 i dont see the point in gambling, to me its just a waste of money Re: Vegas - Juggahoe - 08-02-2012 Thats if you lose. Personally I only play Black Jack and Hold Um, where I know I can win. Re: Vegas - BiggGameJames - 08-02-2012 F-Disk Wrote:Cali is only cool if you are close to the ocean Re: Vegas - juggalogigolo - 08-02-2012 the house always wins Re: Vegas - BiggGameJames - 08-02-2012 if you o win in gambling its only once i won in the slots 400 then one time in roulette 400 again Re: Vegas - juggalogigolo - 08-02-2012 so that would be 2 times.... not once Re: Vegas - BiggGameJames - 08-02-2012 fred Wrote:so that would be 2 times.... not once i meant once you win you won't win for a while i haven't won in slots are roulette since then. Re: Vegas - juggalogigolo - 08-02-2012 which means you havent won at all, since you most likely gave all the money you won right back to them Re: Vegas - BiggGameJames - 08-02-2012 fred Wrote:which means you havent won at all, since you most likely gave all the money you won right back to them wrong! Re: Vegas - F-Disk - 08-02-2012 <doesnt gamble Re: Vegas - juggalogigolo - 08-02-2012 ^ Re: Vegas - BoneZugz - 08-02-2012 fred Wrote:the house always wins pretty much, even though I did see a guy bank some roll @ a poker table, easily left with 3-5gs dude was on a roll when I had to keep walking by, theres so much other stuff to do there but yeah I dont gamble at all really. I stayed at Circus Circus during its time and it was amazing. Re: Vegas - BiggGameJames - 08-02-2012 ill find gambling its boring after a while if you don't start wining. Re: Vegas - Juggahoe - 08-02-2012 No the house doesn't always win. Thus why I only play blackjack and hold um. I've won more playing cards then I've lost. It's the people who try to play who have no idea what they're doing that lose. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] Re: Vegas - F-Disk - 08-03-2012 texas holdem has a potential to win based on skill but your not playing the house but the odds on black jack will always be in the houses favor even if you follow all the rules on the black jack table and play it to the tee the house will win 53% of the time that if you are playing the perfect game making all your hits and stays to the book Re: Vegas - Juggahoe - 08-03-2012 Not sure where you got your stats but that isnt true. Your odds of winning go up even higher if you have a table full of player who know what theyre doing. Because in blackjack the players on the table arent playing against each other but everyone is against the dealer. Re: Vegas - OddBallFreak - 08-03-2012 In blackjack, everyone is still playing against the dealer on an individual level, and everyone is at a statistical disadvantage. Depending on luck and skill it is possible to make money playing blackjack in a set period, but if you were to play an infinite amount of times, you'd always come out in the red. Poker is the only game that you could play a limitless amount and still be able to profit from if you're skillful. Even then, the house is still making crazy profit from the rake (and bad beat if they have it) and unless you have a made hand there is still a luck aspect involved. I've been 1-3 outed on the river enough times to realize sometimes the deck is just stacked against you, but that's a risk you have to acknowledge and be willing to take before you place your chips on the table. Re: Vegas - Juggahoe - 08-03-2012 In blackjack you have +0.1% odds of winning. FACT Re: Vegas - OddBallFreak - 08-03-2012 I had to look into it, since it seemed contrary to my basic understanding of the odds, but yes you are correct. The average person is still at a disadvantage, but if someone were able to play perfect strategy and have the ability to count cards they do have an edge over the house. I recant my previous statement, good sir... Re: Vegas - BoneZugz - 08-03-2012 poker is the game to play if you really wanna make money baybeh, fucka blackjack Re: Vegas - sTr - 08-03-2012 ! like roulette [ Post made via Mobile Device ] |
