Former WWE Superstar "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters is said to be in more serious talks with TNA Impact Wrestling officials, including Dixie Carter, about possibly joining the company. Masters worked for their Indian Ring Ka King promotion, but the future of RKK is currently in doubt. Masters has been interested in joining TNA for some time now.
Dixie Carter recently stated on ImpactWrestling.com that she would like for the first-ever TNA Hall of Fame ceremony to be aired on Spike TV during the weekend of Bound For Glory in October. No word yet on if "The Icon" Sting will be joined by any other HOF inductees. Dixie also wants to divide the roster in half so they can do more live events, basically simultaneously.
Regarding the DirecTV situation, it's being reported by Variety that DirecTV and Viacom are at odds with each other and are both blaming each other for the whole situation. It's currently unknown when, or even if, the issue will be resolved. This means that people with DirecTV will go for at least another week without Spike TV and TNA Impact Wrestling.
