Sucked isn't the right word, it was more dismal.
But it's late right now and I'd rant for too long with all I've got to say. So I'm tabling this until later where maybe I can be more concise.
But to build on the thread (since replies liked "it sucked", "stereotypical", and the like are kinda lame) and because I'm actually interested in hearing what the people of b6 have to say about their hs experience, i wanted to add a question: what did you want to be when you grew up? and how/what did that progression change to over time?

I only had like 100 kids in my grade, and the town just built their own h.s when it my class was entering 9th grade. Before then the kids went to the h.s at the next town over, and they didn't want to pull the kids that already started going to that school out, so there were never any upper classmen in the school, we were the first graduating class.
Most of the teachers were fresh out of college and didn't know what the fuck they were doing, everybody knew everybody else's drama, most people thought I was weird because I spoke my mind, and didn't give a shit about their opinions, and I'm fairly certain the principal was fucking one of the students.
All in all, I wasn't a huge fan, but there were a few people that made the day to day motions of getting up and going there worth while, and I'm grateful I still keep in touch with most of them.
