A few yr ago my grandpa died of Cancer then a few yrs after that grandma got it and beat it then she got it again and beat it again my ant has cancer drs told her that she don't have long to live but she is fighting it and doing good

My grandma a few years ago.
I just lost my dad suddenly in 2010 to a heart issue. He was at work and just died. The real crazy thing was I was visiting him in Alabama when it happened.

I don't want to live forever and if I do start to fall out and they want to hook me up on machines, I have it written out and stated that I'd rather die then be on life support if there is no way to recover fully and function again.

That's totally understandable.. lots of people have DNR on their records.
That is the only thing that gave me solace when dad died was knowing he went quickly and he would have never wanted to be on machines. I just feel like 49 was too young :-(
