Virus protection - Grimlin - 01-15-2011
Looking for a decent free virus protection till I can pay for a better one.Money ran out as well as my prescription for Norton.I don't have $50 yet. Been hearing AVG went downhill since I last had it and didn't detect my last virus which resulted me having to take it in and getting it completely cleaned out $120.I lost everything because of it. I don't want to go through this again.
So what virus protection is out there since i really don't keep up with the latest and greatest stuff. I need it free till i get some money saved up.Any recommendations/opinions?

AVG works perfect for me. Never had a problem, but then again, 98% of the time, I run no protection

I hope so...we'll see.....I'm virus prone for some strange reason so we'll see how well this one works. I might as well just upgrade once I get some money in. The upgrades seem decent enough and not too expensive.
I really didn't have any problems with Norton's paid program.I went a full year without any problems what so ever.Norton has actually improved from the last time i had it which was like 3-4 years ago i believe.
