The old shows I went to used to be the shit, I'm not saying I never went to a good show. But recently? I don't even like the crap they've been putting out, so I don't see much of a point in going. And maybe I'm a bitchy old lady, but I can't stand 13-15 year olds, haha.
And at least they changed a track I guess, they used to just put out different fucking covers and we'd all buy them for "rarity," ahaha.
Can you make decent money off selling their shit? I've got a few jerseys and autographed rare shit I seriously don't need, haha

I dunno man, IMO this is the closest they can ever get to going old school (what everyone and they momma has been asking, including a few of you) and I really do think they pulled it off. it would have never happened without Clark though, and theres 2 different tracks on each cd and the booklets are also different. I dont know how you would think thats bogus of them, I think its genius in this day and age of pirating, it gives the consumer a reason to buy atleast one of them.
And those of you trying to get money for signed psy shit... good luck, That basicly decreases the value IMO but I used to be a hardcore collector, and Signed shit never sold for much, unless it was like a Personalized Lotus jersey signed by the member it belonged to. As for the 13-15 yearolds..... meet them in the pit. thats all i have to say.

How is J trying to sing choruses on half the tracks old school? Its not, its shit. Its even worse than twiztid's mutant album. There's a handful of good verses, but the beats for the most part are extremely poppy, its reminds me a lot of bizzarbizaar with the same ugly aftertaste as cottencandy and popsicle.
In terms of marketing genius, how is it original to come out with different album booklets for the same cd? Its not. If you're going to pirate a CD, chances are both versions are going to be out there. Lots of people scan booklets too. If you physically need to hold the booklet, then lets just say you have bigger issues than poor music taste. Psychopathic is just being their usually money hungry self in the face of decreased fan base. Not like they behaved any differently when there fan base was growing anyway though.
One thing that stand out so badly are the skits too, they used to be funny or eerie or just add a little extra to the song. Holy shit were they annoying, the most irritating voices combined with the stupidest banter I could think of. Fuck that girl scout cookie skit, fuck it till it bleeds.

After Bizaar/Bizzar and the Ray Day shit, I don't know how anyone could legitimately purchase any of their albums. Album sales were down, so lets spew some complete bullshit:
"Hey juggalos, we gotta spread the message of clown love to more people. Go out and buy more copies of our album - 3 or 4 copies - and give them out to people you meet. Much clown love ninjas!"
Sadly enough, that shit worked. I never listened to them again after that, which turned out to be a great life decision, as I finally morphed into a normal human being.

The next album was actually Shangri-La, and it was successful, without any "buy every version!" gimmicks. I think there were DVDs that came with it, that's about it. But overall, you really didn't have to buy two copies.
You guys are just being over cynical, I think. If you don't like ICP anymore, that's cool. But ICP didn't change, your tastes did. They've always been gimmicky and lacking in talent. They were never good at anything but theatrics and murderous fun.

let's see first, they turned a double cd into 2 separate albums(shangri la & hells pit), then made two copies of each with a different 2nd cd. on top of that they made a remix cd and a 7.1 dvd for it, like you really need to hear their shitty touch n' go beats in 7.1 surround sound

Agree with this completely.
I don't listen any more because I don't really like it. I'll listen to an album from time to time, but I can't listen to it on repeat like I did, simply because the music doesn't interest me.
If anything, I'd be more inclined to support them for whatever marketing strategies they've used. Why hold that stuff against them? They're businessmen that are trying to make a living, and fortunately for them, they found something they're good at. If it's not the music, it's marketing, because they've been doing it pretty successfully for 20 years now. I can respect and support people that work hard at what they're good at.
If I was in their position, I'd be doing everything I could to get as many album sales I could. It's not like they're puppets being pushed on people by the music industry, or pushed to make certain records that will sell, like most music you hear on the radio today.

Their lives have changed drastically since Milenko, and I believe their music is going to change with the times as well. Look at Lynyrd Skynyrd, point made.
I would say you could all hate on me for it, but I know you won't because you love me. I'm going to the ICP show in Philly on October 15th, too!
