2, I have read watchmen and frankly i found it boring as hell, I have not seen the movie yet so I reserve judgment on it.
3. Magic or kryptonite = cop out. Supes is invincible so they had to write in very obvious weaknesses. Spiderman wears a mask to "protect his loved ones", superman wears glasses: subtle difference
4. I read more comics than I care to admit, I don't consider myself an expert by any means but I know what I like
5. Marvel has b characters as well... good for them
6. I tried to get into "returns", i really did but dude throw a punch or something
7. You want to talk rip offs? two words: Meta-Humans. Sandman and clay face are similar, I will give you that but saying that one is a rip off of the other is a bit of a stretch.

well we can really go back and forth all day i do like dc more but at the same time my to 4 fav superheros are in order
1.batman
2.spiderman
3.superman
4 wolverine
i loved batman hush as well as the new avengers . the marvel vs dc the did some bs stuff in it like when wonder woman kicked storm in the head it would of caved storms head in come on shes gone toe to toe with sups at times and really that book was cheesy as hell. both companies have ups and downs marvel - movies dc -animation
in the comics i really think they go back and fourth back when i had the money to buy comics every couple weeks i had shit from both companys hell for that matter i have issues 2-26 of tmnt vol 4
but weather your a marvel or a dc you cant tell me you never crossed over at times because when you love comics there are a couple things u have to know batman superman and spiderman are icon charaters u can ask anyone things about them and they will know bruce is bats clark is sups and peter is spidy and to alot of people thats all the comic knoledge they have

IMHO Marvel shits all over DC, i only really like batman....and i dont even like him a lot
as for the who "IM SPIDEY" [ONE YR LATER] "WHO IS SPIDEY?!" thing....there is somethings that you cant nitpick....and this is one of them. You suspend disbelief enough to not question a teenage boy getting bitten by a radioactive spider and turning into a web shooting vigilante....but people forgetting who he is, is the only thing to irk you. Admittedly its not great writing but somethings must be done
comics rule regardless...it just so happens that Ive given marvel more of my money.
Oh and BTW, Moonknight pwns the majority of comics

It's not free range to treat the audience like idiots.
In Ghostbusters, you suspend disbelief as ghosts are real, visible, and catchable. Now if they make another movie or something, and like... there's zombies... then you're like, "Wait, why don't they turn into a ghost." It all must still make sense within the universe. Marvel is REALLY bad at that.

its not worded the best, i get that its not a get out of jail free card...and i did say that its bad writing
but i feel that we, as readers of books about superheros cant really be too picky with writing like this. In the bigger picture the decision to unmask spiderman may have boxed them in story wise...so rather than just stop and go "WE FUCKED UP HUUUUUURRRRRRR" they've tried to spin it and keep the series going....they are a business after all.
Spiderman aside, i still think the majority of marvels characters are cooler and have better weapons :)

The great thing about comics is they COULD feasibly do alternate universes. That's the problem with movies. Once you do something, you're stuck with it. Like Superman's kid. What the fuck are they gonna do with that? OOOPS! Gotta reboot the series. Fucking waste of money.
