They fucking killed us. We played like fucking shit. At least we didn't get shut out I guess, but damn. I just don't get it. There was never a man in the middle to get the rebound. I ain't a coach but, damn. I just don't get it.
One thing though. If we would have won then it would have been nothing but IT"S CAUSE THEY FUCKINGS HURT CROSBY!!!1 So at least we ain't gotta hear that I guess.

Well, itâs time for me to post my thoughts about the glorious victory of the mighty penguins. Not that anyone will read it or give a damn, but it is necessary for me personally. As great a day as any in my life, no doubt. Iâve been an obsessed, diehard Penguins fan for quite a long time now. And I think back to the lad watching the Pens win it in â92, rockin the Lemieux jersey, and I think not so much about the victories, but of how that young lad (me) had his heart broken every single year since, for 17 straight years, until the other day. All that suffering just makes this victory all the more sweet. To live is to suffer. And to be a good sports fan is to suffer. But in sports as in life, once in awhile, say in every 17 years, everything goes your way, as if you wrote the script yourself, and thatâs the damnable glory of it all.
A couple of other thoughts:
First and foremost, Max Talbot is not only the single greatest hockey player of all time, heâs the single greatest human of all timeâsorry, Jesus.
Second, Marrian Hossa⦠You fool! You traitor! You stupid man! Look at you! Now, in thinking about Hossa, you must consider that he did what he did because he wanted to win the cup, because he is a lover of glory and fame rather than of money or wisdom or some other ultimate end. This means that he fundamentally is concerned with what other people think about him. And what do people think of him now? What indeed? I feel kinda bad for him in a sense. But in the end you can only have so much mercy for those who betray and kill Jesus.
And finally, props to the Detroit fans on one point: Yes they booed us while we skated the cup around, but the crowd stopped booing, and even cheered to some extent when Lemieux raised the cup. Recognize game.
Oh, and Penguins haters, Crosby haters, take that one on the chops. The penguins are the Champs, Crosby is the youngest Captain to ever do it. Give credit where credit is due and stop making yourselves look silly.
