lmfao... This thread getting this out of hand is well.. predictable, nonetheless, to answer the original question.. (also, someone mentioned hurricane Katrina) I actually went through hurricane Katrina without power for 2 weeks even though i live like 90 miles from New Orleans.. it was fucking horrible living without power for that long.. mostly because of the heat though. so if i knew i had to live without it forever.. first id have to get far from where i'm at because the heat and humidity in the summer will seriously kill you. heat strokes are no joke. then id find as many weapons and ammo as i could just in case you have looters and idiots, and also for hunting.. next would be to figure out what kind of shelter i could make (preferably in the woods somewhere near a stream) out of what i could scavenge. after that all id have to do is clear some land, tend a garden and make sure me and my family are always protected..

There are tribes in third world countries that do just fine working together to gather food and materials for building. They communicate by talking or making sounds and they don't have to go to work or follow any laws. They don't kill each other either actually in ways they are more civilized than we are living a much simpler life without rules and laws.
