Yeah I voted Obama. I'd do it again too. I didn't have any illusions about him being the messiah, but he was about as good a candidate as our political system produces. He's a capitalist and a pragmatist to the bone, but his competence alone and his ability to inspire some minimal level of confidence puts him head and shoulders above that last piece of crap administration that left this country in ruins.

Bernie Sanders is a socialist. Albert Einstein and George Orwell were socialists. But Obama's not. US politics exists in such a right wing bubble that having even a hint of populism passes as socialism (or at least will get you called a socialist), but everything Obama's done is within the confines of capitalism and with the intent of preventing its collapse. Obama's a big government man, sure. But that is basically inherent in the US political system.

Agreed with Alex. If Obama was a socialist, then he'd be doing the correct thing by assigning us all new middle names, and these new middle names would dictate who our new family members were. For instance, if STR had the middle name Tulip, and I had the middle name Squirrel, and then Pauly had the middle name Jupiter, but Alex had the middle name Squirrel as well, then Alex and I would be family members, thus, forced to get to know one another. Such as, "Hey Alex, look over there, it's a Tulip!"
Clearly, Obama is not a socialist. He's merely continuing the same broken policies as George W. Bush.

North Korea is testing nuclear missles. We all know that right? New York and New Jersey are testing air raid/emergency sirens. That's very scary considering I can see NYC from my house.
