The problem with the board is that it has no stream of newcomers as it used to. Being connected to an ICP fansite brought tons of fresh meat, which more often then not were plum retarded. However, it was able to sieve out a few gems in the bunch with the sorting mechanism oddly being fueled with hate. Nowadays there is no stream of newcomers, and with the undeniable drift of oldtimers away the board faces quite a conundrum for how to stay active. Hence no need for negativity as we reach a point where we kind of will take what we can get.
