finally.. shit seems to be looking up for me - evulninja - 10-13-2009
its been fuckin hard but im glad i quit drinking. 30 days sober today.. (i know that dont sound like much but i used to drink a liter of whiskey a day) i got a job interview tomorrow for a really good job working for the public works dept. in my city. 12.75 an hour to start and after 6 months i get a raise to 14 an hour and full benefits which include 2 weeks paid vacation, full medical dental and vision insurance, and 12 sick days a year... not to mention im over halfway through with my community service and already completed my d.u.i. school. 6 more months till i go back to court for review. all i gotta do is stay out of trouble and they throw out my d.u.i... now all i gotta do is get my car back to running and ill be set. i think im doing pretty damn good for a fuck up like me..

Don't be counting your chickens before they hatch n shit though, you still gotta be given the job.

yeah i know. it dosnt hurt that i know a lot of the people that work there though. im just hopeful
