WCW vs WWF - sTr - 08-06-2009

No, not WWE, WWF. Back in the good ol' days when wrestling was reaching it's pinnacle, or at least WWF at the time, a new comer came around with a rich new daddy, the WCW. For years WWF had reigned supreme over any and all competition, mainly because they bought most of the competition at the time, or stole their talent until they went out of business. WCW started slow after branching off from the NWA(National Wrestling Alliance), but soon they started getting WWF's big stars that were tired of dealing with Vince(owner of WWF). This created one of the best times for the sport, some great fueds on and off the air, and the long and short of it comes down to AOL and Time Warner merger that resulted in the sale of WCW, to WWF. :( Let the war-zone begin, WCW vs WWF.

In my opinion WCW was better, even in the old days when it had the rotating ring on the Saturday show and Robocop. Things really started picking up when Hogan, Savage, Nash and Hall started jumping ship, on top of that, WCW had a cooler belt, better games, better monday night show, better talent, just over all better everything. Again, this is my opinion, but let me hear it, because ! know ! will, not once in life has anyone agreed that WCW was the awesome shit.
