It uses no electricity, doesn't need plumbing and uses less soap powder than other clothes washing methods. A Presawash portable washing machine in unused condition sold for £41 on eBay in July 2008 and another for £22. One in mint condition, sold for £30 in June 2008. Unfortunately they are no longer manufactured and don't often become available. If there are any currently on offer in the UK, they might be found in online or offline small ads, at car boot sales, or they will show up periodically in the auction listing below ...
