Scabies is transferable from animals to people and vice-versa. If you have any pets, make sure you're not near them. If they get it, it'll be much more expensive and annoying to treat than you.

Wash your bedset every day and spray your room with flea/tick spray. They are mites, which are the same class as ticks. Any anti-flea/tick spray WILL kill the scabies. Bedbug spray works as well in case they are in your mattress.

Oh, and scabies on your genitals = crabs. Did you know that one?

i actually did not know that. it's wonderful the things you learn on B6. :) i always thought that crabs was like lice, but scabies seem to be much much worse.

They are a form of lice....called pubic lice.

You can't see scabies...they are in your skin.Crabs(pubic lice) you can see if you look closely enough.

They are not related nor have i ever heard they were either.Lice do not burrow under your skin....scabies do.
