I bought some groceries at Wal-Mart once. The Clemintine oranges were like... flavorless and went dry instantly. The veggies smelled rotten but looked green. It was a huge nightmare. I'm sure they're better in the midwest and south cuz that's where they originate, so you probably get fresher stuff there. But here in Jersey, it's basically just a circus sideshow.

I would think a large amount of the produce for this area comes from local jersey farms.
